Virtual Staging AI alternative: cost per listing, disclosure and refunds compared
Virtual Staging AI is a fast, cheap AI stager: 10-second renders, unlimited re-renders, from $16 a month on a yearly plan. It stages; brightening and day-to-dusk are a separate Image Editing subscription, and its pages say nothing about labeled copies or hosted originals. We compared it with our Listing Kit on one whole listing.

The kit contains the edited photos, copies with a visible “AI” label, your untouched originals, a hosted link and QR code to each original (ORIGINALS.html) and a disclosure text you can paste into the MLS remarks. AI can make mistakes: check every photo before you publish it, and never use edits to hide defects of the property.

We read Virtual Staging AI's own pages on October 9, 2026 in a fresh browser and copied prices and terms as published. We did not buy a plan or run a listing through it, so the table says nothing about its image quality. Image quality on a straight-on empty room is close between the AI apps; the difference is the listing: what all of it costs, whether the rooms match, and what you can hand your broker for disclosure.

Is there a cheaper Virtual Staging AI alternative for a whole listing?
For staging only, Virtual Staging AI on a yearly plan is hard to beat per photo ($16 a month for 6 photos, billed $192 a year). For a whole 20-photo listing with brightening and twilight, it needs its staging plan plus a separate Image Editing subscription; the Listing Kit does all of it for $29 once, or $11.60 of a $29 Starter month.
What does Virtual Staging AI cost in 2026?
On its pricing page on October 9, 2026: Basic 6 photos $25 a month, Standard 20 photos $35, Professional 60 photos $79, Enterprise 150 photos $139 with monthly billing; $16, $19, $39 and $79 a month when billed yearly.
Does Virtual Staging AI give refunds?
Its Terms of Service (section 8.2) allow a refund within 7 calendar days of the subscription start if you made fewer than 10 uploads; after that, fees are non-refundable. The Listing Kit refunds the full first payment if you write within 14 days, with no usage limit.
Is Virtual Staging AI AB 723 compliant?
No tool is compliant by itself: California AB 723 puts the duty on the agent to disclose altered photos and make the originals available. Virtual Staging AI calls itself "fully MLS compliant" but its pricing and FAQ pages do not mention labels or hosted originals. The Listing Kit gives labeled copies, the originals on permanent links with QR codes and a disclosure text. Not legal advice.
Can I use Virtual Staging AI in Europe?
On October 9, 2026 its site said it does not currently support customers in the EU, EEA or UK. AI Architectures (20Vision GmbH, Vienna) sells worldwide; prices are in USD with VAT added where it applies.
